The work referred to the title of the show and also to the former function of the exhibition space. Twelve persons living in Eyrarbakki were asked to write words beginning with each of letters of the title Dálítill sjór (Small Ocean / a term used to describe the sea-state). All 144 words were supposed to be set on the inner and outer walls of the building. The work could only be partially realised. The intention of Stafa bú was bringing personal associations toegether to create the imaginery universe based on the inner images.
